Checkbook allows for three types of transactions: income, expense and transfer.
Income is a transaction that indicates you added money to an account, such as a check deposit or credit card payment.
An expense is a transaction that indicates you removed money from an account, such as a debit card or credit card purchase.
A transfer is a transaction that indicates you transferred money from one account to another. This appears as an expense in the account in which the transfer originated, and as income in the account the transfer was made to. For example, when you pay a credit card bill, you can transfer funds from your checking account to your credit card account in a single transaction.
